LSL have done it again, this time with a full Intercity set! mk3 coaches + DVT and 87002 to haul it. Seen here on Friday 14th January 2022 operating its second day of test running, between Crewe & Carlisle to give the 87 a blast up the WCML to check everything is in order ahead of its Royal Scot railtour between Euston & Glasgow on January 26th. Filmed in the morning speeding northbound through Acton Bridge station with 87002 on the front and again later that evening seen arriving & departing Crewe station with the 87 pushing on the rear.
